  • Does Family Chiropractic accept MinnesotaCare or Medical Assistance (MA)?

    Effective January 1, 2026, chiropractic services are not a covered benefit for MinnesotaCare or Medical Assistance (MA) members age 21 and older. This determination is made at the state level and applies uniformly across all providers.

    Family Chiropractic will continue to offer self-pay options for patients who wish to receive care outside of insurance coverage.

  • If I am an existing patient, what are the self-pay options?

    Same-Day Discount Visit – $52

    Intended for patients with an active condition requiring follow-up care. Services may include chiropractic adjustments to the spine and extremities, as well as adjunctive therapies such as EMS, ultrasound, manual therapy, cupping, or kinesiology taping.

    Acupuncture is billed separately at $48 and must be performed in conjunction with a chiropractic adjustment.

    Maintenance Visit – $45

    Intended for patients without an active injury who are seeking a single visit for supportive care. Includes a chiropractic spinal adjustment and application of heat or ice if indicated. No follow-up appointment is anticipated.

    Payments must be made at the time of service.

    Patients not seen within the past three (3) years are required to complete a new patient examination prior to treatment. Visit type and fees will be reviewed prior to or at the time of service.

  • If I am a new chiropractic patient, what is the cost if I am not using insurance?

    All new patients—and established patients not seen within the past three (3) years— are required to complete a new patient examination prior to treatment.

    • Health history review
    • Vital signs and blood pressure
    • Neurological and orthopedic evaluation

    Payments must be made at the time of service.

    New Patient Examination Fee: $48

    Chiropractic Treatment Fee: $52 (in addition to exam)

    Acupuncture Fee: $48 (must accompany an adjustment)

  • Do you offer discounts or monthly wellness plans?

    • One 60-minute massage per month – $80.91 (tax included)
    • One 30-minute massage + one chiropractic adjustment – $75
    • One 60-minute massage + one chiropractic adjustment – $105

    Plans are billed monthly with a six (6) month minimum commitment. Additional terms are available at the front desk.

  • Do you offer payment plan options?

    Family Chiropractic accepts CareCredit. Additional payment arrangements may be available through the Business Office for patients requiring extended care, subject to approval. Patients are encouraged to contact the office with questions prior to their appointment.
