Dr. Tom Holbrook was born in Princeton, Minnesota. He attended St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota, where he earned a bachelor's degree in biology and minors in chemistry and physics. After graduating in 1977, he moved to the Twin Cities and worked for an engineering company, which is where he met his wife Lynn. It was also there that he discovered that his interests didn't lie in an industrial laboratory environment, but rather in working with people. After careful consideration and research, Chiropractic became his life's passion and career choice. He enrolled in 1978 at Northwestern College of Chiropractic in the Twin Cities and in May of 1982 he graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree and certificates in Acupuncture and nutrition. After graduation, he and his wife moved to Brainerd, where he hung out his shingle and opened Family Chiropractic Clinic.
Chiropractic has always been a part of his life and even after 29 years in practice, Dr. Tom still enjoys the miracles the human body performs in healing itself and the benefits chiropractic provides to the young and elderly. He has been blessed with raising three fine young men and making many friends in the Brainerd Lakes area. Dr. Tom's personal interests include most outdoor activities, especially fishing, hunting and gardening. He also enjoys traveling. He is active in both his church and community, volunteering his time and resources.

Dr. Jeff Hand was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario where he obtained his undergraduate degree from Lakehead University in 1999 with first class standing. He graduated from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 2002, then practiced in the Twin Cities before joining Family Chiropractic Clinic in 2004. He is married and has a daughter. His hobbies and interests include hockey, golf, exercise, and fishing. Dr. Jeff is also a member of Brainerd Jaycee's and Business Network International, Leader of the Lakes chapter.
Dr. Jeff first discovered chiropractic in high school. He played minor hockey and developed low back pain after hockey games. He was aware of chiropractic and decided to give it a try. Regular chiropractic care helped him continue playing hockey to the end of his minor hockey career. He always wanted his career choice to be in health care and after researching the chiropractic profession, he knew that it was right for him. This belief was further cemented after a chiropractor successfully treated him for headaches he developed during college.

Dr. Jennifer Person was born and raised in Brainerd, MN. She enjoyed community volunteer work and taught piano during her high school and college years. She spent one year traveling worldwide with an international group, Up With People, and went on to work as a vocal instructor in Denver Colorado.
Her post-secondary education began with an Associate of Arts degree from Central Lakes College (with high honors). This was followed by a Bachelor of Arts (Biology) from Hamline University in St. Paul and a Bachelor of Science (Human Biology) and Doctor of Chiropractic (with honors) from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington. She was the recipient of a National Board Examiners scholarship, a National Science Achievement Award, and was involved in an honors chemistry research program at Hamline University. She was also a member of the International Social Science Honor Society.
Today she contributes to the community as a member of the Brainerd Rotary and she is a member of the Legacy Chorale. Her continuing interest in travel has taken her to Alaska, Paris, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Wales, and the Dominican Republic. After an initial six years of practice in rural Manitoba, Dr. Person joined Family Chiropractic Clinic in September 2007. In addition to caring for people through chiropractic, Dr. Person's abiding passions are piano, singing, golf, friends, family… and of course, travel!
